qtikz software package provides editor for the TikZ drawing language - Qt version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qtikz
qtikz is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qtikz package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qtikz *
You will get with qtikz package name, version, architecture and description in a table
